This elegant colonial jewel exudes warmth and sophistication all in the same breath. "Magical" is the word most often used by guests staying in this six bedroom, seven bath house. Located off prestigious Juarez Park, and a four block walk to the Jardin, you will feel the festive atmosphere of San Miguel from the third floor terrace and yet, have the opportunity to retreat and relax in the solitude of the private pool or landscaped courtyard.

Although this house was newly built in 1998, it has the look and feel of a grand old house that has been holding court for hundreds of years.

Upon entering this oasis, you will be greeted by an original, 1940's, 10-foot mural that is part of the home's fine art collection. Step down in to the lush, fountained courtyard that is surrounded by an outdoor living room with a wood burning fireplace. This area is perfect to gather for cocktail hour or playing family games.

The beautifully decorated kitchen is just an ornament, since you will have the services of a fabulous cook for breakfast and lunch, six days a week. There are five different dining areas to choose from, two inside and three outside. The main dining room is absolutely beautiful and seats ten persons as does the kitchen and outdoor areas.

In the cooler months, you will enjoy using the fireplace in the large living room that has French doors opening to the pool on one side and the courtyard on the other.

The romantic downstairs master bedroom, with a king sized canopied bed, also has French doors that open to the pool. It also has a sitting room with satellite TV. Every bedroom has its own bath and every room in the house has a gas fireplace. The house also has its own water purification system and sound system.

On the second level, there are two more king-sized master bedrooms and a light filled sitting room that over looks the pool.

Over looking the courtyard is a fourth bedroom with a queen and a twin sized bed. The fifth bedroom has a full sized canopied bed and a twin. The sixth bedroom is at the entrance of the home from the foyer and has a king bed and bath.

On the third level is a plant filled terrace that has a beautiful view of the Parroquia, which is the church that is shown in every ad for San Miguel. The terrace has a seating area and a dining table with an outdoor grill and kivas. It is a perfect place for morning coffee, watching the sunset or viewing the frequent San Miguel fireworks displays.

The house is staffed with a cook, maid and gardener. An off site English speaking house manager is also available for troubleshooting.

Another bedroom is available in the summer months in attached apartment and is offered separately. It can be accessed from the foyer or from its own private entrance. It has a kitchenette and a downstairs living room with cable TV and an upstairs bedroom with king bed and a generous closet area and bath.
