This unique home features a spacious main house and a guest casita. The main house has two bedrooms, the master bedroom with a king-size bed, fireplace, and a full bath. The second bedroom has queen size bed and bath. The master bedroom on the top floor overlooks the swimming pool and garden from a balcony. It also has its own private rooftop patio.

In the main living area, a wall of fifteen-foot tall French doors looks out onto the garden, making this a sun washed retreat.

There is a single bed available for use in the mezzanine if two in the party cannot share a bedroom when a maximum of eight people are using the home.

From the great room, you enter a smaller sala (room) that offers TV, sound system, and a fireplace. A full bath adjoins this room.

One of the classic Mexican features of this home is its outdoor (open, covered) living room with a wood-burning fireplace and cozy sitting areas. This outdoor sala faces the garden courtyard with a heated swimming pool, a fountain, a fully-equipped outdoor grilling kitchen, and a beautiful, old mesquite tree.

Above it all, a rooftop garden terrace affords a stunning view of the San Juan de Dios Church and surrounding countryside.

This home includes a fabulous cook and housekeeper. The cook will prepare breakfast and assist you in preparation of a light lunch if you like. Evening meals may be arranged direct with the cook at a nominal hourly fee for overtime.

The guest casita has its own entrances from the courtyard and from the street. It can be rented separately or together with the main house. On the ground floor is a kitchen, adjoining living room/dining area, a fireplace, TV, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and full bath. On the second floor is a living room with fireplace, a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a full bath. The third floor offers a sitting room with fireplace and an adjoining outdoor terrace with a spectacular view of the San Juan de Dios Church and the park blocks.

The decor, linens, and colors in this home provide a luxurious, private sanctuary for the San Miguel visitor.

There is Vonage phone and high-speed internet available in the home.

Pool heating is $175 per week payable in advance. Recommended between October and March.
