Just one block from the main square, this architectural treasure has been completely restored to evoke the essence of the past while providing for a lifestyle of modern comfort. Only the finest of materials and workmanship have been tastefully employed in this home to blend true spanish colonial design with modern details of elegance.

The rustic and charming spaces include: a formal entry, living and dining rooms ideal for entertaining guests, four bedrooms and five and one half baths accommodate residents and visitors in luxury.

For entertaining around the pool and adjacent jacuzzi, there is a covered outdoor sitting area which includes a fireplace and bar.

Casa Tzintzuntzan boasts one of San Miguel's most prestigious addresses and was originally built in 1749. This massive property was hidden away for years until people of vision saw the potential in restoring this colonial jewel. San Miguel's most talented architect, landscaper and interior designer were retained to restore this property back to its previous glory. The result is breathtaking and this elegant colonial masterpiece now exudes warmth and sophistication.

Located in the Historic Center, a one block walk to the "Jardin" (the town square), you will feel the festive atmosphere of all San Miguel, and yet still have the opportunity to retreat and relax in the solitude of the massive quarters around the private pool or in the landscaped courtyards and terraces.

Upon entering this oasis, you will come to the spectacular central courtyard that displays a lovely fountain, mature trees and landscaping beyond belief. Around the central courtyard are two of the four bedrooms giving a stunning setting for the colonial style entrances to all these bedrooms. Step down into the lower courtyard by the jacuzzi and pool, and you will find the perfect place to gather for cocktails, read or just relax and enjoy the solitude of this space under the covered patio and bar.

Upon leaving the living room, you enter the impressive dining room with seating for ten to twelve persons. This masterpiece of a dining room is complete with custom made furniture and lighting. Off the magnificent dining room is a gorgeous bar with all custom cabinetry.

The beautifully decorated eat-in kitchen is designed to be a space with seating for casual dining. The beautiful cabinets and deluxe commercial grade appliances, including Sub-Zero Refridgerator are second to none. This bedroom features twin beds in addition to a fireplace. Above the pool area is the fourth bedroom and patio complete with king bed in a bird's nest bedroom with all the amenities described in the others. There is a tremendous view from this bedroom level.

The expansive second floor terrace features a full bar as well as covered entertaining and seating areas with breathtaking views of the city and beyond.

The house is staffed with a cook, maid and gardener for your comfort and service.
