Situated on the Eastern slope of San Miguel de Allende, Casa Ventanas has one of the most jaw-dropping views of this magical city and the magnificent pink-purple sunsets that light up its skies. Located just up the hill from el centro, the house is within walking distance to the city's main attractions.

Casa Ventanas is a non-smoking 3-bedroom/3-bathroom compound completed in 2007. It features many modern conveniences, such as a wireless internet connection, IP/Vonage phones, satellite television, and radiant heat (upstairs).

All three bedrooms have televisions and iPod sound systems. The den and master suite also have DVD/CD players.

The second-floor master suite has a stunning view of the entire city. Lights from the town and the main church can even be seen from the king-size bed. Also on the master suite level is a large terrace with daybed, again with views of the entire city.

The master bathroom is bright and sunny. And, the walk-in closet features a butler's pantry complete with a coffeemaker, mini-refrigerator, and microwave - ensuring you'll never have to leave this romantic oasis!

One of the lower level bedrooms features garden and patio views, a king-size bed, fireplace, and large soaking tub. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed, small library, a striking piece of Mexican sculpture, and a beautiful bathroom of polished concrete.

The first floor kitchen is fully stocked (equipment includes a coffeemaker, juicer, toaster, microwave, gas oven / stove, full-size refrigerator, pots, pans, etc) so you can cook for yourself. Or, arrangements can be made to have a very well-trained cook prepare meals during your stay.

The house has four dining venues (three outside), six working fireplaces, three patios (including an enormous rooftop terrace), and carport parking for one car. If you're taking a working vacation, the upstairs office provides the perfect perch to take in the views and, if you're able to concentrate, be productive too.

Casa Ventanas is managed by an off-site house manager fluent in English and easily available by phone or email. He'd be delighted to schedule your in-home massage appointments, restaurant reservations, ATV tours, balloon rides, or whatever else you desire. The house has a friendly full-time housekeeper who works six days a week, all the while respecting your privacy.

Located within a gated privada (private neighborhood), this house is extremely private and safe. There are no houses immediately in front of Casa Ventanas so it's full of light all day and full of the twinkling lights of the city all night. The openness of the privada also means children have ample space to run and be free.

Owned by two California-based art collectors, Casa Ventanas has artful touches throughout and an interior design style that is colorful, playful, and light on its feet. The house was specifically designed to accommodate indoor-outdoor living that takes advantage of San Miguel's divine year-round weather.
