The Little Castle in San Miguel is one of the prettiest, and most reasonable, rentals on the market. There is not a home with this level of luxury -- with a heated swimming pool and which accepts children! -- at this price. Most homeowners understandably wish to save their rentals for adults. The owners are parents of young children and welcome your children. And they know how important a pool is to the young and old alike. Even if you're not a swimmer, you will love the ambiance around the pool: the peace and quiet, the chirp of the birds, and the splash of the aqueduct cascading down into the pool.

This totally renovated and refurbished home boasts all the modern amenities that will make your stay in Mexico a vacation to remember forever. In the main house, all on the second floor, are three large and luxurious bedrooms, each with a private marble bath. The huge master boasts a luxurious king bed and enormous bath with views to the Parroquoia from the shower. The two other bedrooms feature one king bed with double sinks in its bath, and one with twins and a stone bathtub.

Also on the second floor are two terraces -- one with loungers and one with a table and chairs for morning coffee or evening cocktails and fireworks -- and a library/reading gallery that overlooks the pool.

On the first floor are a comfortable TV room with plenty of seating and a fireplace; a living room with fireplace that opens to the covered patio; a large, baronial dining room that seats ten; and a gourmet kitchen with professional stove, marble counter tops and spectacular dinnerware that makes entertaining a true pleasure. There is also an outdoor sala with wood-burning fireplace and stacked rock wall fountain; multiple outdoor seating areas; and a large pool and jacuzzi with a spectacular aqueduct spilling into it. The pool is heated year-round. A three-tiered fountain in the courtyard provides additional melody and ambiance.

The fourth bedroom area is a stand-alone casita behind the pool with a full kitchen, king-size bed, twin trundles and lovely bath, plus plenty of storage and closet space. Four persons can stay in the casita right off the pool in complete comfort and privacy. Ideal for families as the children can sleep on the trundle twins.

In addition to the TV room, there is WiFi/Internet connection throughout the home and a beautiful sound system to round out the entertainment. There is a full time cook and maid on staff to serve breakfast and assist with a lunch when needed -- plus a gardener part time. The maid works M-F from 9am-4pm and Saturday from 9am-2pm.
